The Rosselkhoznadzor Informs Business Operators Engaged in Foreign Economic Activity with UK about the Import Procedure

We would like to draw attention of the participants of foreign economic activity to the fact that the UK officially left the European Union on February 1, 2020.

Despite repeated requests from the Rosselkhoznadzor to the Veterinary Service of the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) to resolve the issue related to smooth supplies of livestock products between our countries, the Service has not received any response.

In view of this situation, currently, animal products can be supplied from the UK to Russia only if accompanied by Common forms of veterinary certificates approved by Decision of the Customs Union Commission No. 607 of 07.04.2011 (as amended by Decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission Board No. 161 of December 8, 2015), taking into account current restrictive measures. Veterinary certificates must be issued on special paper with protective elements, in the languages of the exporting, transit and importing country, and without any changes in the wording.
