Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Konstantin Savenkov participated in the opening ceremony of the XII International Fishery Congress.
On October 5 the opening ceremony of the XII International Fishery Congress took place in the large hall of the Primorsky Krai Administration in Vladivostok.
The plenary session was devoted to the theme “Innovations in the fisheries sector as the impetus for effective use and conservation of the global sea wealth, their impact on world markets”.
Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Konstantin Savenkov, Director of the FGBI “Natsrybbesopasnost” (“National Fish Safety”) Vladimir Menyakin, Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Territorial Administration for Primorsky Krai and Sakhalin Oblast Dmitry Zdanovich and also President of the All-Russian Association of Fisheries Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and Exporters (VARPE) German Zverev took part in the plenary session.
Konstantin Savenkov focused on issues of the introduction of electronic veterinary certification of biological fish catches in Russia in his speech. He also drew the attention of business community to starting to apply the new health certificate for aquatic bioresource products exported to the Republic of Korea and EU countries. The new form of the certificate comes into force on January 1, 2018.
German Zverev in his turn noted the constructive dialogue of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Rosselkhoznadzor Territorial Administration for Primorsky Krai and Sakhalin Oblast with such associations as VARPE, Pollock Catchers Association, Association of Primorye Fish Industry Companies, emphasized the significance of the Rosselkhoznadzor export related activity and absence of problems in that respect.
