On July 12-13, 2016 the FGBI “Federal Center for Animal Health” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor received a delegation from the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Nature of the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs (NVWA) and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus for participating in the seminar on integration of veterinary e-certification system of the Rosselkhoznadzor with that of the third countries.
The visit was aimed at negotiations concerning implementation of international veterinary e-certification between the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Nature of the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs (NVWA). At the seminar the leading IT experts of the Information and Computing Centre of the FGBI “ARRIAH” presented the information system VETIS as a unified information environment in the veterinary field and provided detailed information on the system components:
• ARGUS information system (control of consignment movement on the border);
• MERCURY information system (electronic veterinary certification and traceability of moved consignments);
• VESTA information system (registration of laboratory tests, food safety monitoring, epidemic monitoring);
• SYRANO information system (early notification system).
The parties summarized the current results of receiving veterinary e-certificates from the Netherlands information system, as well as discussed further steps on closer cooperation in this direction. A number of other vital issues were discussed during the meeting.
